Hello I'm QICbot, The Quality images candidates bot. I was developed by User:Dschwen and operated by User:Dschwen and User:Mike Peel. Please ask all questions and report all problems at User talk:Dschwen and/or User talk:Mike Peel.

My duties are:

• Going over all promotions and declined images haven't been commented on for more than 2 days and nominations that have not been commented on for 8 days
• Moving them to the appropriate archive page
• In case of promotions
  • Tag the image page with {{QualityImage}}
  • Notify the uploader
  • Add the image to Commons:Quality images/Recently promoted (from where laborous contributors tag the images with the QI Helper)
  • Sorting tagged images from Recently promoted into the QI galleries, and updating the preview galleries on COM:QI
• Tag images unassessed after 15 days with Category:Unassessed QI candidates
